IdeaBridge® Participates in the 16th Global SME Business Summit 2019

IdeaBridge®, the country’s leading provider of innovation management platform for global organisations, participated in the 16th SME Global Summit organized by the Ministry of MSME in partnership with CII, held on the 24th and 25th September in New Delhi. IdeaBridge® is the go-to platform for enterprises seeking to invent new products and services, manage costs, raise their employee engagement levels that significantly enhance customer experience.

The 16th SME Global Summit’s theme this year was ‘Making Indian MSMEs Globally Competitive’ and was held at the Lalit Ashok. The Summit was inaugurated by Shri Nitin Gadkari, the Union Minister of Micro, Small, Medium Enterprises and Road Transport and Highways. The aim of the Summit was to enhance the MSME competitiveness through adopting innovation and encouraging growth by building sustainable and substantial global partnerships.

The Secretary of Ministry of MSME, Dr. Arun Kumar Panda, announced that the government will provide a digital MSME portal where the MSMEs can hold international interactions that help fulfil their requirements for funding, knowledge, technology, skilling and marketing, which will help over 75 lakh MSMEs currently registered with the Ministry. Shri Nitin Gadkari also spoke on the occasion, highlighting the Government’s goal to increase the MSME share of 29 percent of GDP to 50 percent in the coming five years. He also urged the country’s SMEs to register on the stock exchange and join the 200 SMEs registered. 

Attended by a global audience of thought leaders and international SME stakeholders as well as over 500 delegates from over 15 countries, the country sessions with South Korea, France, Dubai, Bhutan and the US was the highlight of the summit.
